Perfect replacement for original.Fuel Pump, Mechanical, Without Fuel Sending Unit
5.0/5
This fuel pump arrived quickly and was an exact replacement for the factory pump. Local parts stores did not have it, and the price to order was almost double. Highly recommend.

Question: I see mixed fuel pressure ratings for the Delphi MF0001. I have seen 5.0 PSI and 7.0 PSI. In addition, I saw this pump is rated at 40 GPM that is also referenced for use with a 450HP motor. I am running an Edelbrock 1406 carb (requiring no more than 6.0 PSI) on a Jegs 260HP motor. Is this fuel pump to much or to little for the application and please confirm the pressure rating?Kerry W. / May 19, 2023
Hi, From your details, you're employing an Edelbrock 1406 carburetor on a 260 HP engine with a maximum fuel pressure need of 6.0 PSI. Upon reviewing the Delphi MF0001, it generally holds a 5 PSI rating. The 40 GPM figure is likely a misunderstanding, as fuel pumps are typically rated in GPH. This pump commonly rates around 30 GPH, not 40 GPM, which should be more than adequate for a 260 HP engine.
