If it’s not pumping gas to carb , then it’s possible you have wire reversed . Since it is a dc motor it could be running backwards .

Answered by Rodney E. / Thu, May 26It’s a pulsating-type low flow pump. That’s normal operation for this design. Sort of sounds like a loud clicking sound.

Answered by Austin M. / Thu, May 26Question: Which way is the smaller peace supposed to go on on the bigger one ?Orlando G. / May 26, 2022
Hello! The larger barb is for the inlet of the pump, the smaller one is for the outlet

The side of the wire goes out, fuel goes out towards the wire side

Question: Can u eliminate a manual fuel pump ? S10
?Pete Mack / Mar 05, 2024
Hi Benjamin, I'm glad to assist you. A manual fuel pump is specifically designed to deliver fuel at a controlled pressure. Removing it and replacing it with an alternative system might introduce safety risks if not done correctly. Adapting your S10 to use an electric fuel pump requires modifications to the fuel system. It involves adding components like an electric pump, fuel lines, and potentially a fuel pressure regulator. It's a complex process that necessitates a thorough understanding of fuel system functions and proper installation techniques. I hope this helps.
