Can u eliminate a manual fuel pump ? S10 ?Pete MackMar 04, 2024
Best Answer:Hi Benjamin, I'm glad to assist you. A manual fuel pump is specifically designed to deliver fuel at a controlled pressure. Removing it and replacing it with an alternative system might introduce safety risks if not done correctly. Adapting your S10 to use an electric fuel pump requires modifications to the fuel system. It involves adding components like an electric pump, fuel lines, and potentially a fuel pressure regulator. It's a complex process that necessitates a thorough understanding of fuel system functions and proper installation techniques. I hope this helps.

As simple as it gets , make sure you orient the flow by looking at the flow arrow on the unit.

I wish I had not purchased this pump. A previous reviewer 5 years ago complained about the loudness of the pump. It's still ridiculously loud, louder than the exhaust and road noise when driving. I'm getting another brand/style that I know is quieter.
