nd not made as durable. In addition when a motor sets for a long period of time the electric pump really helps out in the starting. I love the pumps, but recently nearly 1 in five fail after a short time [less then two starts] on occasion. I have early pumps from puralator nearly ten years old that still operate.

I ordered this pump kit to resolve a fuel supply problem on an older lawn tractor with a 20hp kohler engine that had a broken mechanical fuel pump. The EMPI fuel pump kit had everything I needed to complete the install and it is working perfectly. I am very happy with it.
