Hi Max, I'm glad to help you out. Yes, you do need a fuel pump assembly, but it should come with a sending unit. Unfortunately, this part is not compatible with your 2003 Maxima, and we currently don't carry a direct-fit assembly that will fit the model. We suggest checking the local parts stores around your area or the Nissan dealership directly on what they have available to offer you. I hope this helps and happy shopping.

As per checking, we do not carry the fuel pump seal or gasket only for your vehicle application. However, we carry the whole fuel pump assembly with the seal already.
