Shipping took a long time and the tank was not OEM. I had to remove it twice and make adjustments in order for it to fit. Even then it did not fit well. That being said, it works as it should with no leaks or other issues.

The web site says its a direct fit. My fuel sender / fuel pump assembly did not fit in the new tank and had to buy a new unit.

I got an email over 2 weeks after I placed the order saying the tank was not in stock and my order was canceled. There is no reason it should have taken that long to find out you didn’t have any. I got the notification a couple days after the tank was supposed to be delivered. This was ridiculous. I should have been told sooner so I could get one on order elsewhere!!

Hi Tracy, I'm pleased to assist you. This should fit the vehicle. The fuel tank size and configuration should be the same as in a 1991 Jeep Wrangler Base with a 6-cylinder 4.0L engine. Both the YJ model and the Base model typically came with the same fuel tank options, and the engine choice doesn't usually affect the fuel tank size or configuration in this model year. Hello! The PLK kit comes with the gaskets and hardware. The PL kit does not.
