Question: My 03 ford ranger XLT doesn’t have the side pieces that come off of the sides like that. Any way you can confirm why my current grille doesn’t have that?Jeremy W. / Sep 29, 2020

Upon checking, this grille is a direct fit replacement for the 2003 Ford Ranger XLT. I would recommend preparing the VIN and call the dealer or our Sales Team at 1-866-529-0412 for them to decode the VIN and assist you in finding the right grille.
