Easy simple fix to make it fit perfectlyGrille Assembly, Chrome Shell With Gray Insert

As others said the outer tabs didn’t line up BUT it was an easy fix to trim remove the tab nuts and 1/8” off of each tab and then the fit was perfect. Nice to have perfect grill on the old 87 300D

Substandard "Made in Taiwan part"Grille Assembly, Chrome Shell With Gray Insert

I and my mechanic were extremely disappointed. The color of the grill was black and not grey as all the Mercedes grilles were for that six year period. The chrome outside frame weighed about half of the original grille. The killer was that the chrome frame was not molded correctly. Even after bending the screw holes on each end to lock down the grille, there was almost a one inch gap on each end. So upset and disappointed

Poor fit to hood of vehicle will need to bend for proper fitment, factory benz hood ornament will not fit properly into grill hole is too small need to modify. Looks ok, cheap material. Its expected for the price.

The replacement grille has a beautiful appearance and was easy to install. The only complaint is after instalation I noticed the center chrome piece is roughly 1/4 in. short. No one has noticed this imperfection but me.
