Had to replace both headlights on GMC Acadia that were getting dull. Had shop to install them. Looks good, hope they last longer than the OEM lights.

This part you have chosen has a Halogen light source and already comes with the bulbs for your convenience and ease of fitment. Use caution, didn't fit my vehicle. Wiring and headlight were different. I had to fix my original one with plastic bonds. Sent the other one back. Be careful .

Hi Laura,
This pair of headlight states it is a second design type as of the fitment details. The one you most likely need is the first design type of headlight which unfortunately we do not carry anymore.

Can you answer a couple questions. Are your originals the High Intensity lights or are they standard lights? Also, and I know this may sound stupid, but you have checked the fuses correct? Maybe during the install, something may have blown a fuse or module. If the cases fit, there may very well be a way to make them work. I rewired my new lights, having changed them from high intensity back to standard lighting, using the exact same wires from the car, but have to switch some of the wires on the new case. Hi Robert, I'm glad to help you out. This item doesn't require any alterations. This part is a direct-fit for the 2008 GMC Acadia with a clear projector headlight and the 2009-2012 GMC Acadia. This item includes the main bulbs. You only need to transfer the turn signal bulbs into this part. You also need to use the original mounting hardware to install the part.
