Hello! These are for cars that came with halogen headlights, therefore no ballast is needed.

I have a 2006 Lincoln Zephyr. The next year they changed the name to the MKZ. I couldn't say for sure that the light from that model is still the same. The one in the picture is the one in my Lincoln. You might want match it to make sure. Mine worked out great.

Upon checking, we currently do not have in stock the HID headlight for the 2009 Lincoln MKZ Base 6 Cyl 3.5L. We just have the halogen light source for now.

buy the assembly. if you don't like ther bulb, change it. you SHOULD CHANGE ALL OF THE BULBS BC TUBE ONES INCLUDED ARE CHEAP MAINLY FOR SHIPPING ONLY. you will be avoiding a headache if change out to new bulbs. marker and actual headlights. do it now or do it a couple of weeks after your new install. so much easier to just do it now.
