Hello! Unfortunately, while these do come with bulbs, they do not include the HID ballast or wiring needed to retrofit HID's onto a car that came with halogens. There may also be programming needed, and my suggestion would be to reach out to a dealership for a list of requirements for this kind of retrofit.

I am confused, the picture shows the HID ballast but Mitchell answered that they don't come with ballast. Please clarify? Also what type of bulb is it H1, H3, H4 and how do the high beam work? Hi Ingo, I'll be glad to assist you. Mitchell means that this set comes with the bulbs but not the ballast and necessary wiring harness for the conversion of halogen headlights to HID (high-intensity discharge) system. This set uses 9005 bulbs for the low beam and another 9005 bulbs for the high beam. The black components in the photos are the headlight cap and not the ballast.
