My headlight is so much brighter on the road! And it looks SO much better. Of course it outshines the light on the other side, which I will replace ASAP. I already feel much safer driving at light. Just polishing the outside helped a bit, but this is SO much brighter!
The replacement fit perfectly. It was a little difficult to get the ballast bulb lead through the old headlight cavity, but it is possible. Re-threading it through the new headlight was also tricky, but still possible. I wish some instruction about that step was available. Videos on YouTube walk you though the swap, but watch several, since each video is different. A beautifully produced video had the Prius up an a lift and added a number of unnecessary steps. Other videos less well produced, showed that those other steps were not necessary. Lastly, the round bulb cover with an o-ring for the bulb that twists on and off is VERY tight and VERY hard to twist off and on. Two videos concurred about that difficulty, and one of those videos had a trick to make it easier: Use a silicone lubricant in a $23 tube. That's a lot of bucks for one job, but if you are replacing both sides, and even if you are not, anything that would make the twist-off easier would be worth every penny. Bottom line: Get brighter light from your headlights and make your old Prius look much newer and better!

Great quality--- unlike a lot of other aftermarket headlights I had no issues with needing to remove plastic pieces from over molding from the housing, fast shipping from car parts com too

This headlight replaced an old original 2009 headlight that the internal reflector became corroded and caused low beams to be dim and yellow, even after re-surfacing the oxidized outer lens. The replacement fit perfectly. It was a little difficult to get the ballast bulb lead through the old headlight cavity, but it is possible. Re-threading it through the new headlight was also a little tricky, but still possible. So far, so good!
