Hi David, I'm glad to assist you. In normal circumstances, no short circuit or grounded wires, the headlight installation should not cause the instrument cluster lights not to turn on. Please check for busted fuses for the cluster lights. It might be a fuse that coincidentally just got busted. I hope this helps. Happy shopping.

Answered by Jeonino E. / Sat, Aug 21Anything is possible, but this is unlikely. Everything out including gauges or just the cluster lights? Check the fuse? Check the cluster light dimmer? Oh and check the silly switch on the top of the steering column that turns the lights off.

Answered by Mark / Sat, Aug 21I installed the same lights with no issue. I would first check the fuses. Your owners manual and YouTube can show you where they are. There is an in-cab fuse panel and an under-hood panel.

Hi Nick,
This is a direct fit part for the selected vehicle application from 2000 to 2004 Subaru legacy GT/GT Limited, 2000-2004 Subaru Outback, All Submodels, All Engines and 2003 Subaru Baja Base, All Engines, also 2004 to 2006 Subaru Baja. This is a plug and play install. The last thing to do is adjust the screw adjuster to set the correct focus settings. The socket connector from your vehicle is a direct plug and play connect to the back of the headlights. It does not need any adaptors(this is if I understood your question correctly).

Just the high beams, the bulbs for the corner lights are not included.

Answered by Arnel E. / Tue, Oct 13Mine came with all new bulbs (high beam, low beam, and both corner bulbs). I had to use the original corner light sockets, the new ones caused a short. Carparts dot com was supposed to work with the supplier to fix this issue. Other than that, I was completely satisfied with these headlights.
