Ordering process was easy. The staff on the phone are very responsive, but not to suggestive. Prices are very reasonable and the shipping was quick and easy with tracking information provided after parts were located in their different warehouse locations for shipping. Boxes that were used to ship parts were not the best, but my parts did come in perfect condition. I will have to wait to see if the alignment and fittings for this hood fit. Overall, I’m am very satisfied. I live in Hawaii and Car Parts do not ship there, so I used ShiptoHawaii and was able to get these parts to me.

Hood was packaged well and good quality metal. Only issue I had was with the latch hook being a little forward. It was off by just under a half inch at the most. After shimming the lock mech it work fine but was a little frustrating.

Unfortunately, this is not compatible with your vehicle. This fits from 1999 to 2002 Toyota 4runner. Upon checking, we do not carry the hood with a scoop design for your 1998 Toyora 4runner.

The hood scoop is already molded to the hood. As per checking, this is not a direct fit part for 1996 Toyota 4runner(for 1999 to 2002 fitment). We just have the regular hood without the hood scoop design for the 1996.
