Question: Hi, i have a 2000 honda accord s.e.. according to the original window sticker for this car..I am pulling misfire codes for all cylinders and am starting to look into locating an ignition coil to put into the distributor housing. It has a hitachi part number on the component to the left of the coil as you look at the housing with the ignition cap is removed....its a 2.3L 4 cyl with auto trans. How do I figure out which coil is needed for my car?David D. / Aug 15, 2022
Hi David, I'm glad to assist you. The engine misfiring is one cause of a defective ignition coil. It is best to replace. This aftermarket brand Drivewire matches the Hitachi OEM distributor brand. We recommended replacing the two ignition coils inside the distributor under the cap. Grab our low-price offer and click the link below to order today. Question: Does this fit V-tech distributor?ALICIA D. / Jun 21, 2022
Hi Alicia, I'm glad to assist you. No, this fits or matches the OEM Hitachi distributor. There are 2 kinds of ignition coil types to fit your 2.2L Honda Accord engine. That is the Hitachi and the TEC brand. If you need the TEC brand type, the part number is REPH504601. Grab our lowest price offer and click the link below to order today. I hope this helps.
