Hi William, Yes, we highly recommend the gaskets be replaced as well.

The intake manifold gaskets came with the kit. However, I did have to purchase a new o-ring for the thermostat. That did not come with the kit and needs to be replaced.

Hi Ryan, I'm glad to assist you. There is an important note on the fitment information. It says " One Piece Design, Does Not Work With Coolant Heated PCV Vehicles". So if you have this coolant heated PVC engine, this will not fit. You can also call Dorman's technical support team for any questions. Their number is 866-933-2911. Bought the same one for my 1999 Ford Mustang GT 4.6L NA with the original motor as well and I had to file down one of the bracket pieces that goes to the alternator an helps holds it an also bend it slightly for it too fit correctly, don’t remember if everything is the same on your motor as I know some came slightly different with pi or non pi heads and if that will make a difference or not with your fitment. (but just a fair warning) it was a pain in the @$$. So #carparts.com also just a heads up as well. I know this doesn’t exactly answer your question but hope it helps in some way (maybe saves ya some time and frustration) if you do end up having the same problem as I did. P.S. And by the way I had no other issues at all with it once fully installed. She ran good after that. And a few other issues I had to take care of as well but nothing that pertained to the intake.

The coil packs get installed with self tappers. The insulation bucket needs to be removed or it will not seat properly. And the intake gaskets have been replaced with an updated version. I used this exact manifold on my 2006 police interceptor. It is a universal fit manifold.,

The intake manifold came with the gaskets. It also came with the new screws for the spark plug boots and an adjuster for the alternator bracket. I did not need to make any additional purchases for installation.
