2008 Honda CRV Rear Hatch RevivedFront Hood Lift Supports Shock Struts
4.0/5
The 2008 Honda CRV Rear Hatch after close to 18 years gave out and did not hold open anymore.
After a few close calls with the Rear Hatch falling on my head or closing on its own - it was time to replace the Shock Struts.
Parts came in a timely fashion and replacing the struts was straight forward - a quick twist at the ball joint connection points at both ends of the strut and a quick snap for the new ones and the work was done.
The first few cycles were fairly resistant - but afterwards the Hatch Liftgate was good as new!
