Worked well. I installed just yesterday. It holds the lift gate on my Mercedes e320 wagon Love this car. It’s crazy how this little part holds the heavy lift gate.

Question: 2001 Mercedes Benz E320 Liftgate Lift support, any special tools required to replace the Lift support cylinder for the station wagon lift gate, other than the lift support clamp shown on this page? How is the forward end of the cylinder removed?glenn d. / May 17, 2021
Hello! No special tools should be required, just a small flathead screwdriver
