The hood lift support stainless steel connection clips were beveled, and the clip would side back off the attachment posts. I flatted the bevel with a pair of needle nose pliers, and the lift supports then snapped securely onto the attachment posts. The lift supports functioned as expected. I thought the price was quite reasonable, too. Thank you.
