Yes. The trunk lift support shocks help to hold the trunk up when you are trying to take items out of the trunk.

Answered by Grace G. / Tue, Feb 02They both deliver the same outcome of holding something in place but get there by different means/methods. The points where a stay assembly goes might position the struts incorrectly.
