Yes, they would work with a power liftgate. You may spray some lubricant like WD40 so they lift smoothly upon first use.

Hi,
This is standard a gas charge lift support that utilizes a hydraulic pressure to force a piston through a cylinder which raises and lowers the liftgate.

Answered by Jay G. / Thu, Oct 22I am not sure what you mean power, but the ones I put in lift the door slower than I would like. The first set I got broke because it lifted so slow I tried to help it up but it "froze". Not that happy with them
