MAP sensor for 2006 Hyundai Sonata GLS V6 3.8Map Sensor

For some reasons I couldn’t understand Amazon sent me a MAP sensor that did not fit. I went to O’rilley Auto Parts and they had one that had one nut and was not compatible as well. I had to get my money back. Thus MAP sensor is the correct one for a Hyundai V6 3.8 motor. Keep it up

Hi Barbara,
The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor is used by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) for engine load input. The PCM uses this input to calculate the correct amount of fuel to inject into the cylinders. The MAP sensor measures the absolute pressure inside the intake manifold of the engine.
We highly recommend that a certified mechanic diagnose the vehicle to pinpoint what part needs replacement.
