My original mirror caps were all chipped and pitted from debris. These definitely made the truck look years younger. The black really isn’t “black” painted as much the vehicle is. But a little polish and they blend close enough for me.

We were driving south on the 15 to Las Vegas. The wind was blowing really hard and there were tumble weeds rolling on the highway. We passed a truck and the left mirror cover came off. I needed to replace the cover but they do not come painted so I purchased a set of the 2 black pieces so that my mirrors would match.. I was completely surprised at the quality of the set.

These replace the originals. Just use a small flathead screwdriver or trim pry tool to pry up and release your original caps off. I started at the top middle; pry up and then slid the tool along the seam and the clips would pop apart. New ones just snap on.

The shiny covers are great. The bad part, yes there's a bad part, there are no instructions to remove and replace the covers. Fortunately for me the passenger cover was "blown" off so I could match the cover to the holder. They are very good looking.
