Required modifying my original mirror backing plate, had to drill holes in it. Also had to bend heater connections significantly to allow mirror to adjust properly. It was not noted, but these are not identical to what I had, they DO NOT have electro-photo chromatic connections or function. Not a big deal, and all in all, worth the hassle for the huge savings over Toyota OEM parts. Put on my Platinum and I don't even notice that they don't dim at night like the old ones.
