When I ordered it I popped the black shell off the new part and put my white shell on around the mirror itself the black piece was easy to swap out as long as the shell around the mirror isn’t broken on what you have now that is

Hello, This is the exact replica of the OEM mirror, they have the same specifications. We don't really suggest to replace the back cover of the mirror because it is sealed on the mirror housing. It may crack/broken when you take it off. This part fits the 2013-2017 Nissan Altima Base All Engines.
