Question: Hi, the existing OEM mirror I have on my 2008 GMC Denali has a chrome cap, can that be removed and placed on your new mirror, what is the return options if it does not fit or your mirror does not work? Hi Todd, I'm glad to assist you. Yes. The chrome cap is removable. It fits the 2008 GMC Yukon, Yukon XL Denali 1500, and Yukon XL 2500 (you forgot to mention the model). We have a 90-day return policy as well. There is no programming to be done once you install the mirror. The only important thing is, all the features this mirror has, should match the original functions of your mirror. It is the passenger side, power, heated, power folding, non-towing, chrome, with turn signal light, memory, puddle lamp, and blind spot feature. Please confirm it all is a match so we could send you a direct link for you to order the mirror.
