Perfect fit and easy installation for my 2012 Accord. The cover is unpainted but also comes detached, so I was able to snap off the cover from my old mirror and re-use it on the new one without the hassle of getting the new part painted.

I still had the original mirror so I just popped the plastic colored piece off the back and it fit perfectly on the back of the new mirror.

Hi Erik, This is a black finish mirror, paintable. There are different shades of black, this is not glossy black like the OEM color. You can paint this mirror to match the original color of your mirror. We suggest having it painted locally so they can correctly match the shade of your paint.
