Question: The wife(no I'm not kidding) side swiped the garbage door frame and damaged the passenger side mirror. The only broken piece is the black item holding the mirror on place. Is this part replaceable without replacing the whole assembly? 2015 Honda Odessey EXL.Jim A. / Mar 15, 2021

This part does not fit the 2015 Honda Odyssey EX-L 6 Cyl 3.5L. Upon checking, we currently do not have in stock the direct-fit passenger side mirror for the vehicle (sold out). Since what got damaged was part of the housing itself, the whole mirror has to be changed.

Hi Stan,
This is not painted yet. We don't do painting on our Mirrors and only ship them primed or plain unpainted in plastic molded smooth finish. We suggest having it painted locally so the auto body paint shop can correctly match the shade of your paint.

Answered by Faisal N. / Tue, Sep 21Question: We replaced our side mirrors over the weekend but when we tried to adjust the mirrors, it blew fuse #26 on the driver side. Unfortunately, this is also the fuse for the climate control. When we replaced the fuse, the climate control came back but the moment we tried adjusting the side mirrors again, the fuse blew. The current fuse rating is 7.5 A. Would it be unsafe to replace it with a fuse with a higher rating? Is there another approach to fixing this issue as I know applying a higher rated fuse may cause damage to the electrical system long term. Thank you.Yuha Y. / Sep 27, 2022
Hi Yuha,
We do not recommend you use a higher-rated fuse. It can cause a fire or at least significant wiring damage. The mirror is probably pulling too much current. Either something was messed up duri ng installation, the wire was damaged before, or the mirror is defective.
