Question: I get blind spot info system problem error with this mirror. How can I reset this ?Murali / Jul 26, 2021
Hi Murali, I'm glad to assist you. If there is an error on the dash that there is a blind spot info system problem that means that there was an error detected with the system. Usually this can be caused by a bad sensor. The vehicle's blind spot sensors are located on the side mirrors and on the side of the car and they let you know if there is a vehicle in your blind spot. When one of these sensors fail that will throw an alert to the dash. You can also check to make sure that there are no loose wires to the sensors. Click the link below to order this today and take advantage of our low price offer which also comes with a 30-day post price match guarantee. I hope this helps. Question: I just installed a Kool Vue mirror assembly on my 2019 Honda CRV. But I’m still getting a blind spot error message. How can this be corrected?Brian S. / Sep 02, 2021
Hello! I would start by checking fuses, and if they are all good, I would have your vehicle scanned for the exact fault you are getting. That will give you a better idea of what else to check

Question: I have a pearl white 2022 crv hybrid touring. Can I order the color or have to paint? Do I need the kit to be able to install? Is it difficult to install, special tools or anything?Robby / Feb 14, 2023
Hi Ronby, thank you for reaching out. We don't do the final painting process. We suggest you bring the part to your local auto body shop so they can properly match the color of your car and possibly install the part for you. The effort and time it takes to install this item may vary depending on the installer's level of expertise, vehicle condition, and proper tools and equipment. We recommend that you refer to a vehicle repair manual for instructions. You can find more information here: https://www.carparts.com/blog/why-you-should-always-consult-a-repair-manual/ You can use this link to continue ordering the part at a discounted price today: https://www.carparts.com/mirror/kool-vue/ho78er-s?can=CPAP3648_CSQA_20230214 I hope this helps. I don't know if your color is available, mine was, black. I don't know what you mean by the kit but I bought the mirror for the passenger side and watched a YouTube video which made it very easy to install. All parts I needed were in the box. I'm not a mechanic but it was pretty easy for me, no special tools. Beware...The blind spot monitor no longer works on either side because this is not Honda part and therefore it did not work with the system. The heat works. The adjustment works but the blind spot monitor does not work. I thought it was very absurdly expensive to take it to a Honda dealer to try to it calibrated with no promise that it would work. I'm happy with mine even though that piece doesn't work because it was hugely less expensive.

I’m pretty handy with tools and I watched a YouTube video on how to change the mirror. It was not very difficult. Keep in mind though, if you have the passing sensor type mirrors, you will have to pay $150-$200 to have a dealer calibrate it.

Might have to paint, or order cap separately. No special tools needed. For a specific color, try eBay first.
