The mirror arrived, with a note that a JC Whitney alternative had been substituted. It was well-packaged, and looked virtually identical to the factory Nissan mirror that had gotten smashed. I watched an online video for how to replace it, and followed the suggestions. It was a perfect fit, and took no more than an hour to install. It works fine with the remote adjustment control on the driver's side of the vehicle.

The side mirror looks just like the original & was somewhat easy to install. You definitely need 2 people to put it on . I went on YouTube & found a video & went from there!

Hi, I'm glad to help you out. The problem could be the mismatch on the features of your mirror with this one you ordered. This is with basic powered and heated(defogger) function. And your mirror might not have the heated function, but only basic powered. You have not explained further about that mismatch but your trusted local auto repair shop could do with a socket adaptor or some modification to make it fit and work. You can also return it to get your refund and order the correct one. I hope this helps. Happy shopping.
