Question: Will these mirrors function properly on a vehicle that didn't come with Blind Spot detection? (2014 Ford Explorer with basic mirrors)ALEJANDRO G. / Feb 21, 2025

No, the blind spot detection in the mirror will not work as your vehicle wasn’t originally equipped with the necessary wiring, sensors, and control modules for the blind spot. The connectors will also be different. I suggest calling our parts specialists at 1-866-529-0412 (live agent assistance) during office hours to provide the existing features of your mirrors so we can help you look for the right part.
