Great OEM-like quality. Plugged in to test up, down, left, right functions, everything worked great then proceeded with the full install. Only had to swap over the middle plastic wire guard. Took 15 minutes to total.

This set will fit the 1999 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE 8 Cyl 5.3L For Models Without Off-Road Package. You can have a Z71 with or without the off-road package. I would recommend contacting your local dealership with your VIN number to be sure about the options your vehicle came with.

I have a 2000 Silverado 1500 LT 5.3 and ordered this same mirror for my truck and they fit just like the factory ones I took off my truck. My truck is a 2 wheel drive, so no off-road package. Hope this helps.

Answered by Jim S. / Tue, Jan 19The one I bought was a direct replacement for my 2001 Silverado 2500HD. Following directions that I found online, it fit perfectly. Mine was powered and heated, and it works great. It was for the driver's side.
