Yes you unplug your old mirror's wire and plug in the new one. The connections are behind your door panel. I tested it before putting the door panel back on, and everything is still working great, just like before!

Yes, I attached it to the original connectors and it works just fine. The glass adjusts in the mirror.

Kinda glossy Black. Perfect for a black Corolla that it was installed on. Nice..Mine was black but you never know till you get it. I would say all of them are Black!!
