Question: I have a F-150 2012 truck EcoBoost 3.5 never had a muffler on it it's it have a misfire and no power acceleration with this cause the problem I believe my muffler is clogged up and my truck vibrates and rough idle. Can I use muffler clamps for this muffler to put on. Well this month will fit on my F-150 2012 truck can I put muffler clamps to it on the new muffler?Darren S. / Mar 28, 2024
Hi Darren, I'm glad to assist you. The muffler is an ultra-flow version type and may require clamps or welding to attach it permanently. The piping diameter of your truck should match the 3-inch inlet piping diameter (if it is not a match you should look up the correct piping diameter to match your truck's piping).
