The nerf bars had to be cut and the brackets will not match any holes in the truck frames so impossible to secure them to withstand any weight. Unable to install them.

After ruining a drill bit, attempting to drill through the frame, I broke out the welder, and had one side completely installed, in the time it took to ALMOST get 1 hole in the frame. Between the 2 sides, it took about an hour for installation.
Couple complaints about the instructions; I had questions about what the pictures were trying to show, and ended up figuring it out on my own. 3 pages of pictures, that didn't exactly pertain to my vehicle (expected with a universal step). The instructions called for a 9/16th wrench for the bolts that mount the brackets to the frame, it's actually a metric bolt. Also, at one point, the instructions showed what looked like there were to be nuts placed on the bolts that go through the frame; there weren't enough nuts included anyway.
The steps look good, seem sturdy enough, and were easy enough to install.

Just what I needed for my '84 Chevy K5 Blazer "Hobby Project" - not only do they look great, but they help my 5'1" wife climb into this tall truck.
Would have given this five stars across the board, but the instructions were all pictures with no words, and I had a little trouble figuring out how the angle braces needed to go to support the bars below the frame. Once past that, however, installation was a breeze. Very happy with this product.
