The oil pressure sensor was a perfect replacement. I did recieve part 3 days later than expected and had to reschedule repair but I understand things happen. Overall carparts. Com is a great company.

This part is guaranteed to fit the 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT 8 Cyl 5.3L. There is no oil pressure switch filter needed.

I bought one for my 2011 Silverado 5.3 and it had a screen strainer installed below it. It was not expensive so I replaced it. The strainer was actually the problem as it had become clogged and was not letting the oil get to the switch. I know this because I replaced the switch and had to remove it again to replace the filter to make it work and it now does. I have read that some people simply leave the filter out and it works fine that way as well. The later model may have removed the filter/strainer but I am not sure.

This works well in my 2013 Corvette small block. I do not know if it will fit/working your Silverado. Instalation in the Corvette was a bear and cost $200! Hope yours is less expensive and troublesome.
