Answered by Aldrin P. / Sat, Apr 03California requires 4 O2 sensors. In addition to the 1 before the cat and the 1 after the cat there is 1 on both halves of the exhaust manifold. If you don't have them in the manifold then you only need 2. Each sensor should have a number on it somewhere. If they are not all 4 the same, Google each number and you should be able to identify each ones location fairly quick
