Question: Will this fix the oil consumption problem for 2007 Camry LE 2.4L?JamJam / Apr 22, 2021
Hello! Your vehicle has known issues with the pistons causing high oil consumption, but I would have a certified mechanic check your PCV system before committing to a full bottom end rebuild.

Answered by Mitchell D. / Wed, Apr 28Actually, the pistons are the reason for the oil consumption. They were made in the US and don't fit the Japanese standards for quality. The extra cut on that side and the thin rings just don't do the job of cleaning the oil from the walls.
