Question: 87 Toyota Cressida control valve do u have it in stock ?Melvin C. / Oct 18, 2022
Hi Melvin, thank you for reaching out. We don't have a power steering control valve for the 1987 Toyota Cressida. Have a nice day.

Question: Is this also known as an air control valve that increase engine idle speed for turns made at low rpms?  My existing power steering pump has this and it leaks power steering fluid over time into the intake manifold, looking to fix the problem without having to replace the entire power steering pump.  Thank youKent D. / Sep 03, 2021
Hi Kent, I'm pleased to assist you. No. The idle air control valve and the power steering control valve are different. The idle air control valve controls the air needed to maintain a steady idle speed. It essentially acts as a bypass of the throttle body plate. The power steering control valve directs fluid where to go when you turn the steering wheel. The power steering control valve is usually attached to the center pitman arm, right above the steering box. If this is the part you need, click on the link below to order. You'll get a 30-day post-purchase price match guarantee with your order. I hope this is helpful.
