this little part is unfortunately is a common problem on Dodge power steering pumps.. they all will eventually leak, draining your reservoir and giving you an engine light.. a simple enough part to replace and an inexpensive fix.. the life time of this part varies and even the replacement parts will eventually leak so I always keep an extra in stock for when I will eventually have to change it out. when I install a new one I order up another for the future.. but it is a perfect fit, easy install and fix and inexpensive

This product worked in fixing my check engine sensor, I also had to change a o2 sensor in bay ! slot 1. This is a normal problem if your power steering has ever leaked. Which, from what i have come to understand, in 2000 dodge Dakotas, it happens often.
