Bad part installed the valve and day latter it was making loud noise. I thought my injector went bad so I spend $450 on injectors and realized that it was valve the problem.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we're truly sorry to hear about the trouble the valve caused. We understand how frustrating it must have been — especially after investing in new injectors, only to find the valve was the source of the issue.
There are several reasons why the Purge Valve did not work. For example, a shorted or broken wire, corroded connector, or weak ground could prevent the purge valve from receiving the proper voltage.

Hi,
In the charcoal canister, the purge valve is the opening that releases fuel vapors that were absorbed by the charcoal back into the engine for combustion. A failed purge valve is one of many causes for check engine lights, and it is often difficult for mechanics to diagnose.
