Just bad lines.Radiator, 3.9L/5.2L/5.9L Engines, Aluminum Core, Plastic Tank

The only bad thing that I can say. It's because the lines that came in on the radiator. Was really low quality. If it wasn't for that. Five stars all the way.

Answered by Joe W. / Mon, Aug 15Question: how do I relieve the high pressure air conditioning lines that go into the radiator?Danna N. / Jan 25, 2022
Hello! You need to evacuate the refrigerant with a special A/C machine, however, you should not have a remove the A/C condenser to replace the radiator. The transmission lines that are connected to the radiator will not be under high pressure if the engine is not running.

I bought and installed this radiator for my ‘99 Dodge Dakota w/the 3.9 V6 engine. My truck has the automatic transmission which connects to the radiator by ¼” line. The two lines from the transmission and the radiator were connected by a flexible tubing and clamps. The coolant line from the transmission is not under pressure but you will need to temporarily cap off the transmission side or some of the trans fluid will leak out. I used this opportunity to change the transmission fluid as well.
