Hi James, I'm glad to assist you. The turn signal flasher relay in a 2004-2014 Ford F-150 and the 2006-2008 Lincoln Mark LT are (typically) located under the dashboard, near the steering column. Hello! There is no flasher for the 09 and up f-150's. The bulb flash time is controlled by the BCM. The sound you hear is created by the cluster to mimic the sound of a conventional flasher.
