Good Replacement over stock shocksRear, Driver Or Passenger Side Shock, B6 Series

Needed to replace worn out stock shocks. Bit the bullet for Bilsteins. Ride is firmer but controlled, damping is spot on not loose. Will see how performance holds up over time. Installation took an hour for both, had a couple of stubborn nuts that took some muscle to break loose. Exact replacement and fit, there are You Tube videos on installation.

Question: My current OEM shocks bottom out going thru dips etc on my Frontier crew cab. I have an ARE camper shell on the truck which adds 200+ pounds. Will Bilstien shocks prevent this? Can't find air shocks. what is your advise?Jerry / May 20, 2023
Hi Jerry, I'm glad to assist you. We cannot guarantee fitment on the shock absorber since it is not a direct-fit part for your vehicle application. I checked our listing for a heavy-duty type of rear shock absorber for your Nissan Frontier, we do not carry the one you need, which is for towing and hauling since you have a heavy camper shell.
