Great shicksRear, Driver Or Passenger Side Shock, Gr-2/Excel-G Series

Installation in a 2096 Honda Pilot was very easy. I installed the Timbre bump stops at the same time. The shocks restored the ride quality and the rear end felt more controlled.

Excellent OEM ReplacementRear, Driver Or Passenger Side Shock, Gr-2/Excel-G Series
5.0/5
I could have lived with the 15-year old (240K miles) original rear dampers on my Honda Odyssey. After all, the rear shock absorbers had no signs of leaks and had an 80% efficiency compared to new by my estimation. However, I did notice "bottoming" of my rear suspension on road humps, especially when the minivan is loaded. I thought a $100 DIY replacement job for the rear axle (left and right) was very reasonable. Was I pleasantly surprised at the like-new handling the new dampers provided. Not only was the "bottoming" virtually eliminated, the rear suspension "hugs" the road tightly, without being too firm.

IT TOOK LONGER TO TAKE THE TIRES OFF THAN TO INSTALL THE SHOCKS. NICE SMOOTH RIDE, WORTH THE MONEY.

Better than ManroeRear, Driver Or Passenger Side Shock, Gr-2/Excel-G Series
4.0/5
I put these on the back of a 2000 Odyssey. The van is softly sprung and I was hoping that this shock would stiffen it up like GR2's typically do in other applications. The shock works well, but the ride is still too soft for my taste. to fix the problem, I have added air springs as there are no other options for stiffer shocks for this van.
