Question: when my 97 Corolla Dx gets up to speed, after going through all 3 speeds, it gets to 55 and starts to bog, but still tries to move forward. It does allow  O/D to engage, but bogs again around 70. Is this part causing the issue?Steve / Apr 07, 2022
Hello! Do you have any warnings or check engine light? I would recommend scanning your vehicle for faults so we'll have a better idea of what parts need to be replaced.

I seriously doubt it. This part on my truck has been out for years and the truck runs fine, just no speedometer. Mine Is a manual trans though. Automatics may be different. Sounds to me like a fuel issue possibly. Perhaps at high rpm the fuel pump is not supplying the proper pressure to the injectors. If it were me I would start with a fuel pressure test and check your results against the factory specs. It’s impossible to know without looking at it buts that’s where I would start.
