This part was cheaper than some of the other replacement starters I was looking for. So far it has started my truck every time. Time will tell how long it lasts, but it’s doing great so far.

Was sent a differently branded part than the one I ordered. Some digging determined it was from the same mfg as Quality Built (MPA) and the sales rep confirmed it had the lifetime warranty although to he country of origin is a bit suspect

If you don’t have busted up knuckles I promise you will and you will make up new “special” words aswell. It’s not the manufacturer of the starters fault it’s the damn ford engineers fault.

Answered by Matthew S. / Thu, Oct 28It is very difficult to get to the two top bolts. I is better if you have long enough 3/8 extension with a 11/mm swivel socket to reach from the front of the motor. the rest is pretty easy.
