Good replacement bumper kitStep Bumper, Chrome, Face Bar And Pads, For Models With Rear Object Sensor Holes

Direct fit for my 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE crew cab. Quality is fine for replacing a factory bumper but time will tell how it holds up. Welds are messier than factory and the metal feels a little thinner but the form is spot on. I used the included bolts to install. Everything went pretty smoothly--one thing to note, if you are replacing a factory bumper there is a bracket with 2 studs that this kit doesn't use, instead you replace with 4 nuts and bolts. I would have preferred the bracket with studs but I couldn't reuse mine since they were damaged. The park assist sensor holes were exact fit and didn't cause any issues when swapping in my old sensors. My plate lights were fine so I didn't use the ones included but I did take the new bulbs--the light housings looked just like the original though. The spare tire drop tube was being difficult so I just left that part off. I might try to fit it on later but it doesn't seem necessary.

Answered by Grace G. / Sat, Apr 03You don’t need them if they weren’t damage. They are easy to damage if old bumper was hit. Mine had minor damage unseen. They haven’t worked right since I put on the new bumper.
