Answered by Jeonino E. / Mon, Aug 08I posted on the comments when I did the job on how I did it. But here you go best way is gently pry up with a flat crow bar and it best to use pliers or vise grips underneath to squeeze the 'nubs otherwise they will break if you just try to pry them, the replacement pads will cost as much as the bumper so be careful

Answered by Terrance S. / Mon, Aug 08I was unable to remove all the step pads from the old bumper w/out damaging the lugs on the bottom of the pads that pop into the holes in the bumper.( No 'grommet screws' or 'sticky adhesive' had been used to attach them to the old bumper.) I bought new pads.
