I replaced my original 2002 Nissan Frontier rear bumper with one of these, original had quite a few rust holes, I live near the ocean and salt is ever present. It fit exactly and finish looked good, it was in a plastic bag and sturdy box , had no damage. It came with everything I needed. However as I am within a few miles of the ocean and my truck is still in very good condition I decided to have the new bumper powder coated again before installing, work done by a local firm that does marine work. 75$ . It’s been on the truck for several months of salt air and no issues so far. The dealer wanted considerably more than what I paid for the bumper and coating. Only time will tell.

before you install it, paint the inside (preferably with por-15 rustproofing paint) and it won't be able ro rot out - i did this about 2 years ago, and a couple salty new england winters later, not even a single hint of rust, corrosion, or anything else

I have a 2004 XE. 4 bolts (2 and 2) hold the bumper brackets to the frame. Started with a socket and wrench until the bolt retainers spun out (lots of rust). Finished with a sawzall and heavy duty carbide blade to cut them. I also split the old bumper in half to make the process a bit easier. Overall, it was not that difficult.
