Was a direct easy install. The original bumper was in decent shape but the brackets that were part of the hitch rusted out and only one bolt was holding the bumper on. I had to remove the hitch and only install the bumper with new brackets. Toyota discontinued the hitch so I need to order it from another site but it’s backlogged till Jan 2026. I’m satisfied with the new bumper and the look

Question: I have to replace the rear bumper on my 2014 toy Tacoma. Does powder coated black mean it will looked finished and ready to install. I replaced the rear bumper on my 2014 Tacoma also. I learned the hard way that it is only primed. DO NOT just install it. Have it painted before installation. Also, you'll have to use the existing interior bumper parts as this piece does not come with any. I hope this helps

It is ready to install, no paint needed as powder coat black is the factory finish. It is identical to the original bumper in every way.

Yes, but you might break off the mounting tabs when you remove the originals, possible making for a loose fit
